Bronze baby
Caption with photo in print edition: Sculptor Veryl Goodnight poses in a foundry with one of two bronze horses she made — a mare and a colt — that are destined for Village Hill in Woodside in June. The Landscape Committee is short by about $5,000 in the campaign to raise $108,000 for the statues, committee chair Phyrne Osborne told The Almanac. To make a tax-deductible donation, send checks to the Woodside Community Foundation at P.O. Box 620494, Woodside, CA 94062. Photo courtesy of Woodside Landscape Committee.
