About Magali
Magali Gauthier captures photos and videos for the Palo Alto Weekly, the Mountain View Voice and The Almanac newspapers. She runs the Voice's and the Almanac's Instagram accounts. She joined Embarcadero Media in August 2018. During the pandemic, she captured how the Peninsula community adapted to the crisis.

Magali is a Bay Area native who speaks English, French and Spanish. She received a master?s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California, where she focused on visual journalism through video, photo, interactive webpages and social media.
