About Avery
Avery Luke joined the Redwood City Pulse in 2023. She covers everything from city government and education to local art and music. Avery, who grew up in Los Altos, previously worked as a news reporter at KPFA Radio in Berkeley, the nation's first noncommercial community radio station.Avery also writes newscasts at KTVU FOX 2 and holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from DePaul University in Chicago.
