As an avid scrapbooker, I enjoy browsing Pinterest and other crafty sites to get inspiration for birthdays, holidays and rainy days. Sometimes the ideas are so simple that I wonder why I didn't think of it myself and others are so elaborate that I know it is best to just admire them from afar.

"Pinterest moms" have been getting a bad rep lately. Some moms feel guilty when they realize that they can't (or don't want to) handmake all of the decorations for their children's birthday parties and others wonder where these moms come up with the time to make even one of the many projects.

With tomorrow being Mother's Day, I think it is the perfect opportunity to step back and remember that sometimes we can be too quick to judge other moms. I came across
one "Pinterest Mom's" story
recently. She uses Pinterest for one of the best reasons I can think of...to fill her oldest daughter's childhood with as many happy memories as possible.

Her oldest daughter is six years old and must make many sacrifices for her severely disabled younger sister. One big sacrifice is spending ample time at home. So in order to create happy and memorable experiences together, this mother-daughter duo craft. I found their story to be inspirational and a great reminder that we may not know the full explanation behind a mom's actions. This Mother's Day, let's give all moms a gift of being less quick to judge.
