Staying Awake Makes a World of Difference

Uploaded: May 26, 2015
Over Memorial Day Weekend our family took a trip to Gilroy Gardens. It's been less than 2 months since our last visit, so I was expecting a very similar day. I assumed our daughter would sleep through most of the trip while my husband and I traded off taking our son on different rides.

To my surprise, two months made a world of difference. Our daughter stayed awake for a substantial portion of our outing, loved watching the rides, and was fascinated by all of the kids running around.

And rather than trading off taking our son on the different rides, we actually went on most of the rides as a family. How much fun to see the excitement of the train and the panoramic wheel through the eyes of both a baby and a toddler. It was definitely a trip to remember.
