The Common Application: essay advice from the source

Uploaded: Aug 23, 2017
(from the Common Application's Counselor's email listserve)

This year the Common Application revised and rolled out (some) new essay prompts. Many wondered why the changes? Here is a short explanation and a link to a blog article.

"The goal of revising the essay prompts was to ensure that all applicants, regardless of background or access to counseling, can see themselves and their stories within the prompts. Read Scott's new post: You Have a Story to Tell. Colleges Want to Read It."
