Dancing the clutter away

Uploaded: Aug 31, 2017
With three kids it's a challenge to keep our floor uncluttered. Sometimes it feels like I am constantly picking up Lego, clothes, cars, crayons and play mobile that get scattered across our living room during the day.

Rather than clean up throughout the day, I usually just try and do one big clean up in the late afternoon or evening. That way I am not spending my entire day cleaning. And I can spend a bit more time playing with baby while our older kids pretend to go on an adventure or make Lego creations.

After the toys are picked up and our floor is less cluttered, we usually turn on Pandora and dance. Our older kids love to dance and they seem to always have enough energy to spin around and show off new moves no matter what time it is.

Earlier this month after we started dancing in our living room, our baby couldn't get enough of the entertainment. She laughed and smiled at her siblings as they spun all over the floor. I have never been happier to have a clean floor for all three of our kids to enjoy!

Sometimes three is a crowd and our kids need their own space. But, at that moment, when our older kids were dancing and our youngest was laughing, three couldn't have been a more perfect number.
