The kindness of strangers

Uploaded: Jul 12, 2019
One of my favorite parts about focusing on kindness this summer has been seeing all of the kindness from strangers.

Our daughter’s dress was too long for her to climb easily at the park. Another mom offered us an extra shirt for her to wear. My daughter fell down on her scooter. And, while I was walking over, a gentleman next to her asked if she was OK. A stranger showed us where the anteater was hiding at the zoo. And a cashier gave us apricots from her tree.

It’s easy to forget these random acts of kindness if you don’t actively focus on them. We are starting to write them down. Who knows how long our list will be by the end of the summer.
