Communities Joining Together

Uploaded: Mar 16, 2020
When our kids’ schools closed I was just amazed by all of the support that came pouring in. Especially from parents, educators, and different organizations working together to keep kids entertained while school is out.

Today we had fun trying out a few of these educational resources. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

1. Mo Willems Lunch Doodles: I joined our kids while eating my lunch and watched Mo Willems talk about his first book, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.

2. Storyline online: Today our kids chose a couple of stories to listen to from this website. So far we’ve listened to Arnie the Doughnut and When a Dragon Moves In.

3. San Diego Zoo: Our kids love visiting the San Diego Zoo. And this morning we checked out their live tortoise feeding on Facebook.

4. Khan Academy Kids: The Khan Academy Kids app looks like a lot of fun for pre-readers. Our girls enjoyed drawing and having simple stories read to them.
We need your support now more than ever. Can we count on you?
