Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As a kid, I remember spending a lot of time playing with my dollhouses. They were extra special to me because my grandfather made them.

We recently bought our daughter a dollhouse. Although I knew it would be a lot easier for me to assemble this dollhouse compared to all of the gluing and painting that my grandfather did, I was still not looking forward to putting it together.

When our daughter was napping yesterday, I realized that our son would probably enjoy helping me put the dollhouse together. We bought a very simple dollhouse, so he could help me read the directions, find the correct pieces, turn the screws, and get the dollhouse ready for his sister. What a wonderful memory! I know our daughter won’t yet understand that her brother helped assemble her dollhouse, but his hard work makes this dollhouse a little extra special.
