Eighth-graders at La Entrada School will graduate on Thursday, June 11, during ceremonies that begin at 7 p.m. on the school's blacktop.
The traditional program features eighth-graders who give speeches, sing, ring handbells and perform in a jazz ensemble.
Magali Cohen, student body treasurer, will open the program by leading the flag salute. Superintendent Mary Ann Somerville of the Las Lomitas School District will welcome students, families and friends. Principal Patty Boettcher will present student awards.

Eva Markiewicz will speak about her experience with the Palo Alto Children's Theatre, and Greg Vallarino will talk about "My Grandfather."
