SRI International, a research technology institute, will host robotics demonstrations as part of the Lego Mindstorms RoboTour on Wednesday, August 26. Through videotape and live demonstrations, SRI will highlight the progression of robotics technology.
In addition, Lego's Mindstorms Robotics Invention System, which allows users to create their own robots that can act, think and move on their own, will be demonstrated, said SRI spokesperson Wendy Ryan. Interactive design stations and demonstration booths will offer hands-on opportunities, she said.
The event is open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at SRI International, 333 Ravenswood Avenue, Menlo Park.
