An Open House for prospective members will be held Sunday, Aug. 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Temple Beth Jacob, 1550 Alameda de las Pulgas, Redwood City.

Everyone is welcome to come and meet Rabbi Nathaniel Ezray, Cantor James Gloth, and synagogue members, who will answer questions about this religiously diverse congregation.

Temple Beth Jacob, a conservative synagogue, offers religious education from pre-school through adult.

The first synagogue organized on the Peninsula more than 60 years ago, Temple Beth Jacob serves members from Burlingame to Sunnyvale.

Children are welcome, and may tour the facility with their parents. Refreshments will be served.
