Wyatt-Atkinson
A second ceremony and dinner were held at the family home in Atherton on August 29. Steve Gill, former teacher of the bride, performed the ceremony. The bridegroom's father, Gordon Atkinson, came from New Zealand for the Atherton ceremony.
After a wedding trip hiking and kayaking in British Columbia, Canada, the couple is living in Nelson, New Zealand.
The bride is the daughter of Sheila and Thomas Wyatt of Atherton. A graduate of Menlo School and University of Oregon, she is an education consultant, working with schools and agencies in Micronesia and Samoa.
The bridegroom is the son of Gladys and Gordon Atkinson of Feilding, New Zealand. He is an helicopter engineer employed at Helicopters New Zealand. Ltd.
Lender-Wolfers
The bride is the daughter of Helaine and Marvin Lender of Woodbridge, Connecticut. A graduate of Cornell University, she is a freelance writer.
The bridegroom, a former Woodside resident, is the son of Maryellen Wolfers of Mountain View and Alfred Wolfers of San Carlos. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he is a stockbroker with Sands Brothers in San Francisco.
Sondra Lender was her sister's maid of honor. Erik Wolfers was his brother's best man.
After a safari to Africa, the couple is living in Mill Valley.
Poppenberg-Spangner
The bride is the daughter of Heide and Karl Poppenberg of Woodside. A graduate of Woodside High School and the University of California at Santa Barbara, she is a research assistant at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.
The bridegroom is the son of Linda Spangner of New York and the late Heinz Spangner. He is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and a pharmacy student at the University of California at San Francisco.
The bride's sisters, Krista Poppenberg and Kathrin Dancer, were her maid and matron of honor. Nicole Dancer was the flower girl. Joerg Jonas and Nicholas Gasparelli were groomsmen.
After travels through Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Florida, the couple is living in San Francisco.
