Fork-Fogarty

Patricia Mills Fork and Scott David Fogarty were married August 8 in the Opal Creek old growth forest in Oregon. The reception was held in a forest meadow with a banquet and Renaissance folk singers. Afterward, there was dancing to a blue grass band.

The bride is the daughter of Joan and David Fork of Woodside. A graduate of Woodside High School and the University of California at Davis, she is a graphic artist for the Wieden & Kennedy advertising agency in Portland, Oregon.

The bridegroom is the son of Darlene and David Fogarty of Morgantown, West Virginia. A graduate of Santa Clara University and West Virginia University Law School, he is executive director of Friends of Opal Creek, which manages the 35,000-acre Opal Creek Wilderness area, located east of Salem.

The couple first met in sixth grade at Corte Madera School in Portola Valley when Scott's father was completing a residency in surgery at Stanford Hospital. When the Fogarty family moved to Africa where Dr. Fogarty worked for Interplast, the two started a pen pal relationship that continued for 11 years before they got back together.

The couple is living in Portland and is planning a month-long wedding trip to South America at the end of the year.

Richards-Donohoe

Robin Anne Richards and Christopher John Donohoe were married September 26 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Carrollton, Georgia. A reception followed at the bride's family home in Carrollton.

The bride is the daughter of Alice Richards of Carrollton and the late Roy Richards. A graduate of Woodward Academy, University of North Carolina, and Stanford University Graduate School of Business, she is a venture capitalist with Draper International.

The bridegroom is the son of Lani Ciotek of Menlo Park and the late John Donohoe. A graduate of St. Francis High School and the University of California at Davis, he is a weather anchorman at KNTV television.

Nancy Farese was her sister's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Richards, Laura Richards, Sarah Jane Sands and Loren Farese. Grace Farese was flower girl and Evan Farese, ring bearer.

Best man was Michael McDonald. The bridegroom's brothers, Matthew Donohoe, Martin Donohoe and Terrence Donohoe, were groomsmen.

A large contingent of Bay Area family and friends attended the wedding. For many of them, this was their first trip to the South.

Hui-Newcomb

Sevia Hui and Bill Newcomb were married July 18 at the Garden Pavilion in Sonoma where a reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hui of Daly City. A graduate of Westmoor High School and San Francisco State University, she is an advertising coordinator with Macy's West in San Francisco.

The bridegroom is the son of Nancy Hassen of Atherton and Steve Newcomb of Reno. A graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and San Francisco State University, he is a project manager with C.R.I. in San Francisco.

Cindy Hui was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tracy Anderson, Sherri Boyer, Kelly Quon and Kim Wells. Tiffany Hui was flower girl.

Chris Miller was best man. The ushers, all Menlo-Atherton High School classmates of the bridegroom, were Grant Bergamo, Greg Hawkins, Jeremy Kaplan, and Peter Halsted.

After a Hawaiian honeymoon, the couple is living in San Francisco.

Humphreys-Miller

Lisa Humphreys and Stephen Miller were married July 25 at Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley. A reception followed at the Sheraton Hotel in Palo Alto.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon and Phil Humphreys of Portola Valley. A graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, she is a biology teacher at Mission Viejo High School.

The bridegroom is the son of Barbara and Paul Pedigo of Mission Viejo. A graduate of Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, he is an earth science teacher at Trabuco High School in Southern California.

Andrea Berardinelli Gillis was maid of honor. Robyn Soden was her sister's matron of honor. Tammy Darke and Susan Shey were bridesmaids. Doug Miller was best man with Bill Pedigo, Nils Miller and Gunnar Miller as ushers.

After a wedding trip to Kauai and Maui, the couple is living in Capistrano Beach.

Pfeiffer-Heppberger

Melinda Ann Pfeiffer and Gregory Scott Heppberger were married August 15 at St. John's Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. A reception followed at The City Club.

The bride is the daughter of Helen Pfeiffer of Sacramento and Dr. Craig Pfeiffer of Carmichael. A graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara, and the Hastings School of Law, she is an attorney with the firm of Latham & Watkins in San Francisco.

The bridegroom is the son of Lynne and David Heppberger of Atherton. A graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and the University of Calfornia at Santa Barbara, he is an account manager at Softway Systems, San Francisco.

Karin Pfeiffer was her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Beth Appelbaum, Claudia Child, Darcy Pertcheck, Alexis Pfeiffer, Ingrid Swanson and Marci Wattenbarger.

Clark Heppberger was his brother's best man. Ushers were Rod Diefendorf, Scott Graves, and Douglas Scott. The groomsmen were Matthew Barry, Mark Fitzloff, David Osborne, Mark Pfeiffer, Paul Pfeiffer and Jeffrey Whittaker.

After a wedding trip to Zihuatenejo, Mexico, the couple is living in San Francisco.

Martin-Tinsley

Daisy Martin and David Tinsley were married June 6 at the Menlo Circus Club. The ceremony took place under the giant oak tree overlooking the polo field. A reception was held in the clubhouse following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Susan and Charles Martin of Menlo Park. She is a graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and Boston University. The bridegroom is the son of Carol and Carlos Tinsley of Menlo Park. He also attended Menlo-Atherton High School and graduated from University of California at Los Angeles.

Rachel Martin was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Annika Powell, Rachael Knapp, Lisa Niven and Diedre Hopp. Dahlia and Lindsay Walton and Daryn Tinsley were flower girls.

Ken Tinsley was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Randy and Ron Tinsley, Tom Dowling and Nathaniel Steck.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba. They now live in Pasadena where David is attending graduate school at the University of Southern California and Daisy is continuing her career in film and video production.

Thomas-Christensen

Jenny Marie Thomas and Andrew William Christensen were married September 12 at the Atherton home of the bridegroom's parents, Isobel and Herman Christensen.

The bride is the daughter of Beverly Thomas of San Anselmo and the late Thaddeus Thomas. She is a graduate of California State University at Chico and the Alive and Well Institute of Conscious Bodywork in San Anselmo. She is a chiropractic assistant and certified massage therapist at Precision Chiropractic in San Rafael.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Menlo School and Colorado College. A graduate of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, he is a partner at Imagequest marketing services.

Lisa Marie Montali was the bride's honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Julia Ann Montali, Lisa Renee Dour and Amy Eleanor Christensen. Gavin Christensen was best man. Ushers were Timothy Grace, Todd Sammann, and Mike Horlick.

After a honeymoon in the Italian Riviera, Tuscany and Venice, the couple is living in Larkspur.
