Transportation projects and needs in San Mateo County, where jobs are increasing at 10 times the rate of housing, is the focus of a free public forum to be help Saturday morning, February 27, in Redwood City.
Sponsored by the League of Women Voters, the forum will run from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Woodside Road Methodist Church, 2000 Woodside Road at the corner of the Alameda.
Speakers are Denise de Ville, president and CEO of the San Mateo County Economic Development Association, and vice chair of the SamTrans Board of Directors; and Howard Goode, SamTrans deputy general manager, and deputy director of the San Mateo County Transportation Authority.
