The Woodside High School Foundation is gearing up for its second annual spring event, titled "Spring Into Auction," on Saturday, May 1.
The benefit for the school's foundation includes dinner and dancing at the Redwood City Elks Lodge, as well a silent and brief live auction. The event starts at 6 p.m. For more information, call Jim Milton at 851-0380.
The foundation's gift of a brand new marquee, installed last month at the entrance to the school at Woodside Road and Churchill Avenue, culminates a successful year of foundation support for the school.
Other projects included support for the school's new computer lab, grammar books for the entire school, and testing materials to establish a base line of achievement for incoming students.
