Snook-Heisel

Angela Snook and Kurt Heisel were married September 18 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Montecito. A reception followed at San Ysidro Ranch.

The bride is the daughter of Jane and Thomas Snook of Newburg, Berkshire, England. A graduate of Our Lady's Covent, she is a Montessori teacher.

The bridegroom is the son of Barbara Heisel of Menlo Park and Richard Heisel of San Rafael. A graduate of Woodside High School and the University of California, Los Angeles, he was a member of Signa Nu fraternity. He is a portfolio manager with Merrill Lynch in West Los Angeles, specializing in the entertainment industry.

Christina Chali of Tanzania was maid of honor. Five of the bride's close friends came from England to act as her bridesmaids. Scot Segars was best man. Ushers were Charles Segars, Rob Anderson, Kendall Heisel, and Lee Snook, with Austin Banta as junior usher.

A reception was held in England for the bride and bridegroom who honeymooned in Manzanillo, Mexico.

Mansfield-Hawkins

Maureen Theresa Mansfield and Colin Charles Werner Kawkins were married May 15 at Johns Island Presbyterian Church in South Carolina. A reception was held at the Osprey Point Clubhouse, Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Mansfield of Charlotte, North Carolina. A graduate of Michigan State University and Illinois Institute of Technology, she is a psycologist at Stanford Medical Center. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Owen Hawkins of Atherton. A graduate of the University of Washington, he teaches math at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atheron.

Mia Schillace of maid of honor; Cory Hawkins, the bridegroom's brother, was best man. The bride's attendants were Polly Kareus, Heidi Olmack and Bijal Doshi. The groomsmen were Matt Mansfield, Pablo Grindley and Dennis Meraz.

Holmes-Chow

Carla Marie Holmes and Peter Sienpin Chow were married August 28 at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside, where a reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Virginia Holmes of Menlo Park and the late Charles Holmes. A graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School, Stanford University and the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, she is employed as a veterinarian.

The bridegroom is the son of Kai An and Hsin Sheng Chow of Elmhurst, N.Y. A graduate of Princeton and Stanford universities, he is employed as a electrical engineer at Texas Instruments.

Nina Desai Chang was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Charlotte Kwon, Debbie Calhoun and Debra Slaughter. Zi-Li Chang was flower girl; Zi-Bing Chang was ring bearer. Sien Chow was best man. Ushers were Arthur Chang, Yotto Koga and Ken Honer.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is living in Los Altos.

Peggy Lee and Michael Weimar were married September 5 at Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco where a reception followed at the James Leary Flood mansion.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Imsong Lee of Atherton. She is a graduate of Woodside High School and University of California, Davis. She is self-employed as a marketing consultant.

The bridegroom is the son of Shirley Weimar of Northville, Michigan. A graduate of University of Michigan with bachelor and master's degrees, he is president of Valley Marketing.

Elaine Berra and David Barry were married August 21 at Church of the Nativity, Menlo Park. The reception was held on the grounds of Sacred Heart Preparatory High School.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Rich Berra of Menlo Park. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Middlebury College in Vermont, where she received a master's degree in Spanish literature. She is a teacher at Sacred Heart Preparatory.

The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Jack Barry of Newport Beach. A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in engineering, he is an engineer with Graystone Peripherals in Los Gatos.

After a honeymoon in Banf and Lake Louise, Canada, the couple is living in San Francisco.
