Animal Fun Fair

The Peninsula Humane Society will put on an Animal Fun Fair on Sunday, March 18, from noon to 3 p.m. in the PHS Auditorium at 12 Airport Blvd. in San Mateo. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.

Talks will focus on caring for animals and the different needs of various animals when kept as pets. Visitors will learn tips on caring for dogs, cats, turtles, and, with Easter approaching, rabbits.

The PHS center in San Mateo has a wildlife rescue facility, which will be open to the public to view the animals currently being treated. Typical patients include dogs, cats, guinea pigs and turtles.
