Sacred Heart Prep graduates 102

Award ceremonies, Baccalaureate Masses and graduation activities were held that week for both Sacred Heart Preparatory and St. Joseph's School, the K-8 school.

John Hennessy, president of Stanford University, gave the graduation address. He also congratulated his son Thomas, a member of the graduating class, when he received his diploma from Director of Schools Joseph Ciancaglini and Principal Richard Dioli.

Bridget Geibel was the high school's valedictorian, and Swen Swenson-Graham was salutatorian.

St. Joseph's School

St. Joseph's School graduated a class of 48 eighth-graders at the school's 95th commencement, held on Robinson Court June 9 at the school.

Student speaker was Thomas Donahoe. Bonny James, first-grade teacher, gave the address to the graduates. Dr. Ciancaglini and Principal. John Miller presented the diplomas.
