An 81-year-old former Southern Pacific locomotive, No. 2472, steams into Redwood City station to help celebrate a new exhibit tracing the history of transportation in San Mateo County. At 2,500 square feet, the exhibit gallery is the largest at the San Mateo County History Museum, located in the old domed courthouse at 777 Hamilton St. and Broadway in Redwood City.
