Santa Claus heads for Woodside fire stations
Santa Claus heads for Woodside fire stations
(December 10, 2003) The tradition continues with Santa Claus paying a visit to all three of the Woodside Fire Protection District stations on Wednesday, December 17, starting at 7 p.m.
He's the featured guest at the open houses, but there will also be a chance for children to climb on the fire engines, meet firefighters, and snack on hot cocoa and cookies.
The stations always look festive with their Christmas decorations, and serve as a nice stop for neighborhood families with young children.
The stations are located at 3111 Woodside Road and 850 California Way in Woodside, and 135 Portola Road in Portola Valley.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Toys for Tots program. The toys will then be distributed to help brighten the holidays for less fortunate children living in San Mateo County.
