New sales director for Stanford Park

Pamela J. Hild is the new director of sales and marketing for the Stanford Park Hotel, 100 El Camino Real, Menlo Park.

Ms. Held was most recently the director of sales and marketing for Marriott International in Silicon Valley. Before that, she was employed in the same position for Technology Resource Assistance Center.

A native Californian, Ms. Hild is a graduate of San Diego State University where she earned a degree in business administration and merchandising.
Robert Caligiuri named fellow

Dr. Robert D. Caligiuri, group vice president of Exponent Failure Analysis Associates in Menlo Park, has been named a fellow of ASM International, a materials information society. The fellow designation is given to society members for distinguished contributions in the field of materials science and engineering.
Robin Davis Williams named insurance fellow

Robin Davis Williams of Menlo Park, an insurance agent with the New York Life Insurance Co., was recently awarded the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow designation after she completed coursework in business continuity, insurance, retirement and estate planning. Ms. Williams, who has worked in the insurance industry for 15 years, began at the Allstate Research Center in Menlo Park, where she studied the cost of risk and created insurance products. She is a credentialed actuary.
Douglas McGee named to advisory council

Menlo Park resident Douglas McGee of Prudential Securities in Palo Alto recently became a member of the Franklin Templeton Distributors 2002 Advisory Council, which recognizes the top 200 investment representatives for service and client satisfaction.
