Holiday hours for town halls, Almanac Holiday hours for town halls, Almanac (December 24, 2003)

Town halls in the Almanac's circulation area will be closed some weekdays during the holiday period. The Almanac offices will be closed December 25 and 26, and January 1.
Menlo Park

The city offices of Menlo Park will be closed the entire week of December 22. The offices would typically be closed on Christmas Day, as well as on Friday, December 26, because they are shut every other Friday. Officials also decided to close the other days of the week as part of a furlough to save money in the recession.

The city offices will reopen on December 29 but close on January 1.
Portola Valley

Portola Valley town offices will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, and reopen at 8:30 a.m. Friday, January 2.
Woodside

Any year-end business at Woodside Town Hall needs to take place early in the week -- it will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, through Friday, December 26, in observance of Christmas, and from Wednesday, December 31, through Friday, January 2, for New Year's Day.
Atherton

Atherton's town offices and branch post office will be closed Christmas Day, December 25, and New Year's Day, January 1.
