Man dies in Willow Road parking lot
(January 07, 2004) Heart disease is to blame for the death of a Fremont man who collapsed on Willow Road in Menlo Park on Saturday, the county coroner said.
Octavio Barragan, 47, had picked up a friend in Menlo Park and was driving on Willow Road just after midnight January 3 when he began having difficulty breathing and pulled over, said Robert Foucrault, the San Mateo County coroner.
Mr. Barragan got out of his vehicle and collapsed in the parking lot of Sweet Amy's cafe. He had suffered a heart attack, and firefighter paramedics called to the scene were unable to revive him, Mr. Foucrault said.
