Caption with Carol Ivie photo in print edition: This oak tree on the campus of Woodside Priory School lived a long life if a trunk with a 5-foot diameter is any guide. Eric DeLeon, a construction supervisor working at the Priory, took some measurements of the 65-foot-tall tree after it fell during the recent storms, probably due to a combination of root rot and high winds, according to the tree service that disposed of the tree.
