Signups for girls' softball league
Girls, ages 7 to 14, need to register now if they want to join the Alpine-Menlo-Atherton League and play softball this spring.
Players who registered last year has received a preprinted form, say league officials. For others, registration material is available at the offices of the following schools: Phillips Brooks, Las Lomitas, Hillview, St. Raymond, La Entrada, Oak Knoll, Corte Madera, Ormondale, Woodside, Woodland and St. Joseph's School of the Sacred Heart. Forms also are available at the Portola Valley and Woodside libraries and may be downloaded from www.eteamz.com/alpine2004.
The age divisions are 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. To register for an age division, use the participant's age as of January 1, 2004.
Practices start in March, and games are played from the end of March until the first part of June.
To avoid paying late fees, participants should register before January 11.
