Armed robbery of man in Willows Armed robbery of man in Willows (January 14, 2004)

A man on foot was robbed of $800 cash by two men, one of who was armed with a knife, in the 1900 block of Menalto Avenue in the Willows neighborhood of Menlo Park, said Sgt. Matt Bacon of the Menlo Park Police Department.

The robbery occurred at about 7 p.m. Sunday, January 4, Sgt. Bacon said. The two men, both of whom were reported to be African-American and approximately 20 years old, ran away on foot. One of the suspects was said to be wearing a trench coat.
