(January 21, 2004) Caption with Nick Wright photo in print edition: Peter Ovanessoff of San Diego stoops to light a candle at a sidewalk memorial near a crosswalk on Santa Cruz Avenue near Palo Alto Way in West Menlo Park where Atefeh "Amy" Bijan was struck and killed by a car on January 9. Ms. Bijan, a nurse, delivered Mr. Ovanessoff and three of his siblings, he said.
