Menlo Brass Quintet performs at Baptist church Menlo Brass Quintet performs at Baptist church (January 21, 2004)

The Menlo Brass Quintet will present a concert, "Zelenka to Kamen," at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, February 8, at the First Baptist Church of Menlo Park, 1100 Middle Ave., Menlo Park.

The program will include Mozart's "Overture" from "The Impresario," Puccini's "Che Gelida Manina" from "La Boheme," an unusual swing treatment of Ernest Gold's main theme from the film "Exodus," and the tone poem "Quintet," from contemporary film composer Michael Kamen. The piece was written for the Canadian Brass.
