Mystery meeting at Menlo library Mystery meeting at Menlo library (February 04, 2004)

Four mystery writers who bill themselves as "the Nuns, Mothers and Others," will discuss their latest books with mystery fans at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, in the downstairs meeting room at the Menlo Park Library.

The four authors -- Lora Roberts of Palo Alto and Lee Harris, Jonnie Jacobs, and Valerie Wolzein -- speak to book groups around the country. They will attend the Left Coast Crime Conference in Monterey on February 19.

The mystery readers group, organized in 1986 by Pat Lanyi (now children's librarian) and Jackie Drew, meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:15 p.m. Former librarian and present-day volunteer Jackie Drew says she has been a mystery fan since "growing up with Nancy Drew."

For more information, call Jackie Drew at 325-4048.
