Menlo Park police, responding to a call placed around midnight Saturday, February 14, found a man wearing only a coat and shirt destroying property inside Spa de Beaute at 611 Menlo Ave. in Menlo Park.
Police arrested Jerman Andrade Prado, 24, of Turlock on charges of felony vandalism and commercial burglary and booked him into county jail.
Police said several windows were broken and the suspect was found with open wounds on his hands and blood on his coat.
Later that morning police discovered that two other nearby businesses -- the office of a local chiropractor at 841 El Camino Real and Fine Homes and Estates at 801 El Camino Real -- had also been burglarized. Police have charged Mr. Prado in connection with these incidents as well.
Blood was also found at the chiropractor's office, and the extent of the damage to all three businesses totals over $50,000, police said.
Police ask anyone with information to call 330-6300.
