Our Regional Heritage

From around 1856 until 1953, the Dennis Martin Cemetery stood adjacent to the Dennis Martin Church just off Sand Hill Road near today's linear accelerator. The graves were removed to Holy Cross Cemetery in 1953, and the marker identifying the site was moved across from the entrance to 3000 Sand Hill Road when Interstate Highway 280 was realigned.
