This information is from the Atherton and Menlo Park police departments and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Under the law, people charged with offenses are considered innocent until convicted.
Atherton

Burglaries:

** Someone broke into a car and stole the stereo on February 18 at the intersection of Monte Vista Avenue and Camino Al Lago.

** Someone broke into the chapel at the Sacred Heart Preparatory School in the 100 block of Valparaiso Avenue and stole various church artifacts on February 25. The means of entry was unknown.

Accident: A 48-year-old Redwood City resident collided with a car at the intersection of El Camino Real and Selby Lane while riding his bicycle. The man was taken to Stanford Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. There is no suspect and the incident is under investigation.
Menlo Park

Assault with a deadly weapon: A man got into a fight on February 23 in the Safeway parking lot at 500 El Camino Real shortly before 4 p.m. The man said that he was hit in the head at least once with a hockey stick. Timothy Santiago, 37, of Menlo Park was arrested on February 23 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was treated at Stanford Hospital for his head wound.

Vehicle accident: One person suffered an injured arm in an incident that occurred at the intersection of University Drive and Middle Avenue on February 25.

Hit-and-run: A man suffering minor injuries was taken to Stanford Hospital on February 25 in connection with an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Jefferson Drive.

Grand theft: Bicycle stolen, 1100 block El Camino Real, February 21.

Fraud: Fraudulent charges made on a credit card, first block of Carriage Court, February 23. Identity theft reported, 400 block of Pierce Road, February 24.

Vandalism: Someone reported damage done to a car in the 2200 block of Sharon Road, February 24.

Auto burglaries: Stereo stolen, 2200 block Sharon Road, February 21. Stereo stolen, 300 block Sharon Park Drive, February 21. Cell phone stolen, 300 block Sharon Park Drive, February 21. Stereo stolen, 300 block Sharon Park Drive, February 24. Stereo and compact discs stolen, 1400 block Adams Drive, February 24.

Petty thefts: Credit card stolen, 1500 block San Antonio Avenue, February 21. Bicycle stolen, 1300 block Hollyburne Avenue, February 23. Cell phone stolen from unlocked vehicle, 1300 block Willow Road, February 25. Purse stolen from unlocked vehicle, 1600 block Marsh Road, February 25. Food and liquor stolen from Safeway, 500 block El Camino Real, February 25.
Woodside

Vandalism: A resident of the first block of Martin Lane reported that a vehicle drove on the resident's lawn and ruined the landscaping on February 18.

Fraud: Someone used a counterfeit $20 bill at a business in the 3000 block of Woodside Road on February 20.
Portola Valley

Grand theft: Someone stole a cell phone from the eraser tray of a chalkboard in a classroom at Corte Madera School on February 18.

Burglaries: Someone stole a car from a garage in the first block of Redberry Ridge on February 22. The keys had been left in the ignition. The car was found three days later at a construction site.
West Menlo Park

Domestic violence: Curtis Boisjolie, 24, was arrested on February 20 in the 2000 block of Barney Avenue for violating a court order.

Grand theft: Someone stole two boxes of medical supplies off a porch in the 1200 block of Sherman Avenue sometime before February 17.
