Frank Moura, Menlo-Atherton High School's music director, will present his concert band and three jazz bands, including singers Hale Baskin and Cara Arcuni, at M-A's 20th annual Big Band dance on Friday, March 5, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., in the J-Building, 555 Middlefield Road.

The event will raise funds for the 30-member advanced jazz band's July trip to Europe to play at the Montreux, Vienne (France) and Umbria jazz festivals. Proceeds will also be used to enrich the school's music program.

Gourmet desserts and coffee will be available at the "Jazz Cafe" during the event. Tickets at $18 general admission, $10 for senior citizens, will be available at the door; for advance tickets, call Susan Martin at 854-3633.
