Paris, Paye at golf tourney
Two former 49ers, Bubba Paris and John Paye, will take part in "Swing for Kids" charity golf tournament Monday, March 8, at the Stanford Golf Course. John Paye is honorary chairman and Mr. Paris is celebrity auctioneer for the event, which benefits the National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy (NCEFT).
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with a putting contest at 10 a.m., and shotgun start at 11 a.m. After play, there will be wine tasting, dinner, and silent and live auctions. Cost per player is $275. Last year "Swing for Kids" raised more than $35,000 for NCEFT. For more information, call the NCEFT office, 851-2271.
Money management workshop for women
Robin Davis Williams, a local New York Life agent, will give a free financial management workshop for women from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce, 1100 Merrill St. To reserve a space, call Ms. Davis at 326-5345.
