Friends of Filoli names president Friends of Filoli names president (March 03, 2004)

Kathie Shaw of Menlo Park has been named president of the Friends of Filoli's board for 2004-2005.

Ms. Shaw joined Filoli as a member in 1992. She has held a variety of positions, including chairman of the floral design committee, vice president of events, member of the executive board, and instructor of floral design for the past three years.

A graduate of Dominican College and Stanford University, Ms. Shaw taught at Jordan Middle School and in a preschool family program for Palo Alto Unified School District. Her other volunteer duties have included the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University.
