Local man probably drowned after a fall
A Portola Valley man who was found dead on February 28 at the Sausalito Yacht Harbor most likely drowned after a fall, Assistant Marin County Coroner Gary Tindel said.
Dennis Siden, 58, kept a boat at the harbor and was well-known there, Mr. Tindel said. He was found by another boater around 10:30 a.m.
"It appears that he fell off his boat. There's nothing suspicious that we can see, and there's no foul play suspected," Mr. Tindel said. An autopsy was conducted.
