Wedding: Poole-Parker
(March 17, 2004) Elisabeth Claire Poole and Thomas Baillie Parker were married February 7 at Trinity Episcopal Church in San Francisco. The Right Rev. William E. Swing, bishop of California, performed the ceremony. A reception followed at the Bohemian Club.
The bride is the daughter of Lois T. Poole and Gordon L. Poole of Woodside. She is a graduate of Crystal Springs Uplands School and Colby College. She received a certificate in decorative and fine arts from Sotheby's Institute in London, and is vice president of Christie's auction house in New York City.
The bridegroom is the son of Ellen and Harry S. Parker III of San Francisco. He is a graduate of St. George's School, Newport, Rhode Island, and Kenyon College. He earned a master's degree in art history from the City University of New York, and is a sales associate at the Hirschl & Adler Galleries in New York City. His father is the director of the Fine Art Museums of San Francisco.
Anna Peterson was the maid of honor. Day Parker Waters and Catherine Parker, the bridegroom's sisters, were attendants. Samuel F. Parker, was his brother's best man. The bride's brothers, David and Edward Poole, were attendants.
After a wedding trip to Belize, the newlyweds will live in New York.
