The Sacred Heart Prep boys basketball team finished its season March 8 with a 26-4 record -- the finest in the school's history -- as it lost to No. 1 seeded Modesto Christian, 78-66, in the Northern California tournament semifinals.

Modesto Christian was the host and defending NorCal champion.

Gators senior Tyler Holland led the team with 27 points, sophomore guard Pat Coffey had 16 points, and Samer Sayhigh contributed 11.

This was the first time that a Sacred Heart Prep's boys' teams reached the NorCal semifinals.

The team's 26 wins and 24-game winning streak set school records.
