Woodside: Study out on proposed park
Woodside: Study out on proposed park
(April 07, 2004) An environmental study of a new athletic field and park proposed for the town of Woodside on donated land near Canada College is now available on the town's Web site.
The park, which would be located at the intersection of Farm Hill Boulevard and Woodhill Drive, faces opposition from residents of the nearby Woodhill Estates neighborhood.
The illustrated 126-page study of the Barkley Fields and Park project, dated March 31, recommends steps to minimize "potentially significant impacts" in several areas, including noise levels, air quality during construction, and effects on native plants and animals. Details are included in the study's appendices.
