A man was robbed at gunpoint by three men Wednesday, April 7, while riding his bicycle over the Ringwood pedestrian bridge that spans U.S. 101 between Marsh and Willow roads, Menlo Park police said.
The men attacked him at around 11 p.m. and stole a wallet and his mountain bike; and one of the men held a gun to his head, he said. Although he was hit many times, he was not seriously injured, police said.
Two of the suspects are Hispanic -- one was carrying a gun and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his face -- and the other is African-American and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his face, police said. All three are approximately 19 to 20 years old and weigh 150 to 170 pounds, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Menlo Park Police Investigations Unit at 330-6300.
