Two male juveniles were arrested April 8 by Menlo Park police in connection with assaulting a woman in the 500 block of Ravenswood Avenue and burglarizing an apartment in the 1100 block of Noel Drive, police reported.
The woman was walking from the Caltrain station Thursday night, April 8, when she was assaulted by two youths who tried to steal her briefcase, said Sgt. Paul Kunkel of the Menlo Park Police Department. The woman fought off the attack and received minor facial injuries, he said.
The juveniles fled and then burglarized the apartment on Noel Drive, said Sgt. Kunkel.
Police were called around 8:51 p.m. and Officer Alan Corpuz found the suspects in the 300 block of Cherry Street, where he arrested them and recovered the stolen property. They were booked into Hillcrest juvenile hall in San Mateo on charges of robbery and burglary.
Anyone with information is asked to call Menlo Park police at 330-6300.
