Children's folksinger Charlotte Diamond will perform Sunday, April 25, at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in Smithwick Theatre at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills.

Her music encourages everyone to be kind to one another and to take care of the environment, said Diane Tokheim of Menlo Park, president of the sponsoring organization, People of Note. This concert is recommended for ages 3 and up.

Concert tickets may be purchased by calling (408) 255-8322 or at the door before the performances. They are $12 each, and $11 each for groups of eight or more. All seats are reserved.

Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Music For Minors, which provides music education classes in elementary schools in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. Linden Tree Children's Recordings and Books in Los Altos also sponsor the series.
