Wedding

Debra Orenstein and Craig Weisz were married at Hillel on the UCLA campus.

The bride is the daughter of Sylvia and Rabbi Jehiel Orenstein of South Orange, New Jersey. A seventh-generation rabbi, she graduated from Princeton University and was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. She serves as spiritual leader of Makom Ohr Shalom Synagogue in Los Angeles, and is the author of several books. Ms. Orenstein is also an actress, appearing in plays and films.

The bridegroom is the son of Karen Weisz Sortino of Menlo Park and the late Dr. Alfred Weisz. He is a graduate of Menlo School and UCLA, and holds a master of fine arts degree from the USC School of Cinema-Television. He is a film producer and production manager.

The newlyweds are living in Los Angeles.
