Graduates Graduates (June 16, 2004)

News of recent graduates:

** Shannon Matzinger of Menlo Park received a bachelor's degree in senior biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology from Whitman College, Walla Walla, Washington. She is a graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and the daughter of David and Tammis Matzinger.

** Alexandra M. Shalvoy of Atherton graduated from Governor Dummer Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts, on May 30. She will attend Southern Methodist University in the fall.

** Caroline Coolidge , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Coolidge of Portola Valley, has graduated from Stevenson School in Pebble Beach. She played varsity lacrosse, and has taken flying and guitar lessons. Last summer, she studied in the south of France in Avignon. In the fall, she will attend Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut.

** Chrissy Coolidge , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Coolidge of Portola Valley, has graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a bachelor's degree in international business and communications. She attended Menlo-Atherton and Stevenson School, and played varsity tennis. She recently completed requirements for a private pilot license and is considering law school. Summer plans include working on the East Coast and hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
