The Pro's (Professional Insurance) won the double-elimination playoff tournament in three straight games, beating Stanford Park 7-1 in the final game June 13 at Ford Field in Portola Valley.

The Pro's finish the season with the best record in league history of 19 wins and 2 losses.

In Sunday's game, Stanford Park scored first with one run in the second inning, but the Pro's answered with three runs, two scoring on Sam McClure's high fly to left center that fell between fielders.

Simon Hood pitched three tight innings for Stanford Park and Noah Sheikh pitched well for the Pro's as the game held at 3-1.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Pro's bats came alive and four runs scored on hits from Adam Zuckerman, Noah Sheikh and Will Cabral. Pro's pitcher Patrick McNamara threw hard to keep Stanford Park scoreless in the second half of the game despite solid hits from Peter Marsden and Simon Hood.

On Tuesday, June 15, at 5:30 p.m. the closing ceremonies will be held at Ford Field in Portola Valley.
