County roads to be resurfaced
County roads to be resurfaced
(June 16, 2004) Nine miles of roads in unincorporated San Mateo County, from Los Trancos Woods to Burlingame Hills, will get shiny smooth new surfaces this summer.
The county Board of Supervisors on June 8 awarded a contract just over $291,000 to Graham Contractors Inc. of San Jose for its annual street resurfacing.
The Alameda de las Pulgas in West Menlo Park will get a facelift, as will seven streets in Ladera, Old Spanish Trail in Los Trancos Woods, and streets in North Fair Oaks, the Sequoia Tract, Palomar Park, and Emerald Lake Hills.
In Ladera, pavers will apply new surface to Corona Way, Durazno Way, Erica Way, La Mesa Drive, Lerida Court, Mira Way, and Siesta Court.
In North Fair Oaks, 11th Avenue, Arrowhead Lane, Berkshire Avenue, Fair Oaks Avenue, and Spring Street will be resurfaced. In the Sequoia Tract, Alexander Avenue, Belmont Avenue, and Nimitz Avenue will be improved.
