In the June 13 championship game for the Menlo-Atherton Little League Majors division, Lutticken's was up 8-1 in the bottom of the third inning, but Brix returned in the top of the fourth with seven runs to tie it up.

A great defensive catch by the Lutticken's center fielder Nils Gilbertson saved a home run. Casey Eason also made a diving catch in center field for Lutticken's to save two runs.

Lutticken's then came back with clutch hitting by Nicolas Henze, Danny O'Neel, Colin Kelley, Tommy Cummings, Nils Gilbertson, Casey Monroe and Casey Eason to make the final score 12-8.

Great pitching by Chase Warren and Casey Monroe held off the Brix's hot bats and helped win the game.
