Trailing 9-2, Menlo Park rallied to defeat San Bruno Legion 10-9 in an American Legion baseball game at Menlo-Atherton High School on June 22.

David Hicks had a home run and double for Menlo Park. Although both teams combined for 31 hits, it was a throwing error in the sixth inning that allowed the winning run to score.

Brendon Lyall pitched two scoreless innings to record the win for Menlo Park.
